In 1945, Forbes Distributing Company began selling repair parts to radio repair shops and later television repair shops. As manufacturing grew in the South, Forbes starting offering industrial controls and repair parts to maintenance crews and companies in Alabama. Today, Forbes sells a wide range of tools, wire and cable, computer network parts and HDTV cabling and accessories.
