Barry Owen OBE, Chairman of Mason Owen, founded the business together with Geoff Mason in Liverpool in 1967. Due to their deep affection for Liverpool, they retained headquarters in the city, whilst establishing a national profile. From their shared ambition and courage, the business evolved from the two of them sharing a small office to become a significant employer in the city. Mason Owen has trained hundreds of Chartered Surveyors over the years, many of whom have stayed with the firm for their whole career in property. Supporting the local community has always been part of Mason Owen’s ethos and, over the years, the firm has sponsored several local charities.
