Our journey began in January of 1997. We thought Charleston might offer an opportunity for us to manage property, as there appeared to be a shortage of professional management firms in the area. Turns out we were right, and almost immediately we were given our chance, and we jumped on it. We worked hard and we did well. Word spread and our roster of managed properties grew, and so did our skills. Success gave us reason to learn about the leasing business, and it taught us about how best to buy and sell investment properties. So we learned by doing. We got better and better. And most importantly, we became successful at serving investor/client needs; all the time not losing sight of the fact that real estate management was, and is, the core center of our business … the life-blood that runs through our veins every day.
